First-ever Red Bull Music Academy Info Session held in Pakistan

30 musicians from different parts of the country attended the Info Session in Lahore   Lahore: February 28th, 2016 After conducting several successful info secessions all over the world, The Red Bull Music Academy hosted it’s first-ever session in Pakistan on 28th February, 2016, at the famous Haveli Barood Khana where the talented Pakistani musicians assembled under one roof. The session was hosted by Nick Dwyer, Academy team member, added some extra insights and forgotten tales from over a decade of being involved in Red Bull Music Academy’s worldwide activities. In the extensive city of Lahore, the Academy hosted an extended afternoon session with Karachi’s own Academy alumni Noahs Heark and Tollcrane. The Red Bull Music Academy is globally recognized as a leading music platform of the new peers with a world traveling series of music workshops and festivals offering an exciting platform for those who want to make a difference in today’s musical landscape. It was the first time in music history of Pakistan that the Red Bull Academy conducted an info session aimed at shedding light on what the Academy stands for and the role it plays in bringing out promising music talent from all corners of the world into the public. Thirty auspicious musicians were invited to be a part of this unique-music-gathering from across the country where they got to network, jam and cooperate with each other in what is being termed as an exciting venture that ‘strikes a chord.’   The chosen venue inculcates the true Lahori spirit with its countless impressions of liveliness and magnificence. This is a deliberate homage to the city’s unmistakable stamp of rich culture and heritage. The landmark city being a seat of learning has always cherished its historical places such as the fort, mosques, numerous gardens and tombs. Therefore, the haveli becomes as an ideal milieu for such a gathering.
