Capture the most talked about looks at Paris Fashion Week 23
Paris Fashion Week is an event unlike any other; bringing together the biggest names in fashion, it creates a buzz of anticipation that echoes around the world. This year's edition was no exception, with models and celebrities walking the runway for some of France's most respected designers and labels. From classic menswear to cutting-edge haute couture, designers went all out to create looks that will define the season ahead.
Kicking off Paris' Haute Couture Week and commencing with the highly-anticipated New York Fashion Week, this year's event ran, making it a full month of fashion. Here are a few of the most impressive and head-turning looks at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
Doja Cat
Doja Cat has cemented her place as a beauty icon with no limits and we are all richer for it. To mark the start of Paris Haute Couture Week on January 23, she dazzled in ruby-red Swarovski crystals from head to toe while watching the Schiaparelli Spring 2023 show front row. From her e-girl phase to shaving her head and eyebrows to entering an "I'll try anything" era - Doja Cat is a trendsetter when it comes to makeup.
This Paris' Haute Couture Week, Doja Cat turned heads as she walked down the Schiaparelli runway in a head-to-toe look that was adorned with 30,000 Swarovski crystals and red body paint. Creative director Daniel Roseberry designed the showstopping ensemble while makeup artist Pat McGrath's team spent five hours perfecting the look.
Kylie Jenner
Paris Haute Couture Week was graced by Kylie Jenner's presence, who exuded her signature Leo style. The audience couldn't take their eyes off of the stunning black velvet gown with a giant lion head shoulder accessory that she donned for the event.
Kylie Jenner, a renowned celebrity on Instagram with millions of followers, made an unforgettable entrance to the Schiaparelli show that kicked off Couture Fashion Week wearing a breathtaking black velvet strapless gown adorned by an eye-catching faux lion head. Even more remarkable is that this dress had yet to hit the runway when Jenner wore it at the event -- part of the new collection from Schiaparelli.
Daniel Roseberry, the Creative Director at Schiaparelli, drew inspiration for his collection from Dante's Inferno. The foam animal heads on display - a lion, leopard, and she-wolf - evoked themes of passion, vanity, and greed respectively according to Roseberry.
Noah Cyrus
On Tuesday at Paris Fashion Week 2023, the 23-year-old Cyrus made a stunning entrance in an ultra-low neckline Stéphane Rolland Haute Couture gown with impressive chain detail on the chest. This eye-catching look was completed by black tights and heels that complemented her signature Morticia Addams locks and bleached eyebrows for a spooky finish.
Recently, the star has made a major statement with their fashion choices over just a few days. For Marine Serre's show, the celebrity showed off an eye-catching printed catsuit; for Miss Sohee they shimmered in an embellished strapless gown; and at Alexandre Vauthier's showcase they dazzled onlookers with sheer pleated layers atop of bedazzled bikini.
Apple Martin
The 18-year-old looked stunning in a timeless two-piece set from the acclaimed French fashion house, donning a black and white plaid mini dress crafted of Chanel’s iconic tweed fabric and complemented with an alluring jacket. Apple finished off her look with eye-catching chunky heeled shoes, a chic crossbody bag from Chanel, and glossy blond hair reminiscent of that belonging to her mother.
Apple's makeup look was undeniably eye-catching, boasting a striking and heavily lined eyeliner paired with an exaggerated matte nude lip. This style bore resemblance to the iconic late '90s red carpet looks of Paltrow herself - another throwback fared in her daughter’s hair that had been parted down the middle into delicate waves.
