Revolving around the lives of two cousins “Zara” and “Alizay”, the new drama “Dil-e-Gumshuda” has a promising storyline with an ensemble cast. Produced under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment, the drama has managed to take over the 9 pm slot, providing the perfect everyday entertainment for the audience.
Starring in the lead role as “Alizay”, Amar Khan is stealing the hearts of many with her role. Every aspect of her personality stands out as she wonderfully portrays the carefree and snarky attitude, making “Alizay” shine. She has not only worn all the aspects of her role but has also made her character as noticeable as it should be.
She made her first debut in showbiz in 2016 playing the role of Saman in “Bad Gumaan” and soon went on to earn the nomination for Best Emerging Talent in Lux Awards 2019 after her appearance in “Belapur Ki Dayan”. She is a gifted actress who fits herself into whatever character she plays, as can be seen in “Dil-e-Gumshuda.”
When her character, Alizay, threatens Zara to stay away from Daniyal, no one could have done it better than Amar Khan. She can make things intense while keeping the atmosphere very subtle. Even though her character is quite villainous and someone who’d fight for what they can’t have, it is hard to hate her because of the sarcastic undertones in her dialogue delivery that brings a new element to the already interesting “Alizay”. The audience is admiring her to the core because of the profound acting skills. She has her ways of going into the heart of a character and then bringing herself out to portray another. This can be seen in her performance in “Dil e Gumshuda” when she tries to seem welcoming towards Zara so she could drift her mind away from Daniyal and how boldly she handles the catfight situation during Zara’s dinner party.
In the recent episode, she has delivered her dialogues with the sarcastic and the usual evil tone and still managed to look terrified on screen in another as the fight goes on between Nadeem and a few guys.
Amar Khan’s dramatic entrance into showbiz has left everyone spellbound and we are sure there’s a lot more to come from her in the future.
