It all began with Salam Shop a few years ago. Sudduf took the plunge and opened the first Muslim lifestyle shop of its kind in Mississauga. To spread the love & beauty of Islam. After a few year’s of a successful shop, Sudduf learnt she was expecting triplets and is now a mom to 3 energetic toddlers. Sudduf has continued to serve her community by founding groups like the Muslim Mom Tribe, Muslim Entrepreneurship Association and works with major retailers to create exceptional events like Ramadan Market for the Muslim community.
Julia Pullin is working with her in a team, as Team Lead at Muslim Market Co.
She balances a variety of roles including Community Manager for the Muslim Entrepreneur Association and her role with Muslim Market Co. Julia has been part of Ramadan Market since its inception and continues to dedicate herself to growing Muslim Market Co this year.
Ramadan 2019
For the first time in history, Ramadan was celebrated at a shopping centre in Canada - not just any shopping centre, but the largest mall in Canada! Square One hosted Ramadan Market to another sold out crowd. The event was the talk of the town and attendees and vendors from all over North America are in attendance. The vendors were hand-picked not just for having the best products in the biz, but for the way they conduct their business and for their vision. They included a spiritual space for prayers and moments of reflection.
Eid ul Fitr 2019
Holt Renfrew at Square One hosted Eid for the first time in the history of the Selfridges Group. Guests were pampered with complimentary henna and gift wrapping, complete with “Happy Eid” ribbon.
