Insider reported that the brand used pulley systems to pull off the bizarre effect on the ramp and slide down the dresses in circular motion on the models. The clothing line is based on plaids and vivid hues representing happiness and joy. The designer depicted his work as an outstanding director for designing for Issey Miyake. Issey Miyake’s enchanting and eye catching display at Spring/Summer 2020 is all over the internet. Santoshi Kondo is the new head designer for Issey Miyake’s brand. The collection showcased was his debut collection for Issey Miyake. For him, nothing could be better and innovative than gliding the dresses down onto the bodies of models who were wearing brown bikins. The collection had a very edgy cuts and bright hues.
The models danced in singing motion to the slow motion that was played in the background. They would come under the pulley hung through the ceiling and move to the next. The dressed up doll like model would move in a bouncing manner. The fabric feels like that of a jersey. The song changed from slow to an afro jazz song to which they kept on jumping and moved to and fro. Two models were tied to ropes from the ceiling and they moved and spin on one foot.
