Moral Policing Is Always On
Coming to some viewers comments about Mehwish Hayat’s dance rehearsal video which we found out were again moral policing. Hayat was dressed in her pink exercise outfit, which many people thought was “vulgar” and “revealing her skin too much”. However, many of her fans still were on her side and said they enjoyed watching her dance. While few were sarcastic and said is she from Islamic Republic of Pakistan, it was also said she could have been in complete outfit rather than showing her skin too much and very harsh comments were also seen. Mehwish hayat in her rebuttal on twitter came and said that, she respected their choice in the same way she expected hers to be.
People believe that there is a fine line between entertainment and vulgarity which our celebrities have crossed they should focus on content.
Another fact coming up regarding HUM AWARDS
A lady came over who said she's not against Hum Awards at all but she's feeling sad for Pakistani community who can pay in dollars to share stage with artists but to pledge 50,000 dollars for Kashmir cause was a real struggle. This was definitely try to raise point over where are we heading.
