Duchess of Cambridge made Royal visit to Pakistan and it’s all over the internet. As much as Pakistan is striving to improve in tourism Corporation, this Royal visit will really improve the global image of Pakistan on so many levels. They are promoting Pakistani culture through different ways. But people are less appreciative regarding this, what has astonished people is Kate Middleton’s and Prince William’s dressing all these days. They are following Pakistani culture and her late mother in law footsteps and we are all in awe for this.
Kate Middleton wore a sky Blue gown upon arrival to Pakistan which was designed by Catherine Walker which was accessorized by a Gold clutch and earrings by Zeen woman. Not to forget to mention Zeen is a Pakistani brand and this is such an honor to style Duchess of Cambridge. Her Blue ombre gown was paired with pajama. Gown had a dupatta style drapery over it and the only embellishments were the round Blue buttons on sleeves. This simple yet elegant dress made her look class apart.
On her second day in Pakistan she made a visit to local schools in Islamabad to join children and indulge in activities with them which highlighted Pakistan’s education system to meet the sustained developing goals. Their Royal Highness, they sat on small chairs around a table with students and had a Q/A session with them. Kate Middleton chose to wear Maheen khan’s ensemble on this day. A royal Blue dress with an intricate embroidery around the neckline with bell shaped sleeves over a straight pant and ofcourse not to skip Pakistani culture, a dupatta. She styled this look with Zeen woman’s beaded chandelier earrings and flats by Asos. This was her first official activity from her trip to Pakistan.
Day 2 was scheduled to a meetup session with the Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. This beautiful and graceful woman chose the same colors as in our flag. She wore a Green coat again by Catherine Walker over a White pants and a dupatta by Generations which again is a proud Pakistani brand to style Duchess of Cambridge. To amp up her styling game she carried a dark Green clutch and wore dark Green heels but we couldn.t take our eyes off her Emerald ring!
Day two was followed by a reception which was hosted by Thomas Drew who is the British High Commissioner in Pakistan. The royal couple arrived in a traditional rickshaw at the venue. This ethereal couple looked nothing less than a dream couple both styled in Emerald color dresses. Kate Middleton wore a sequined gown by Jenny Packam accessorized with champagne color earrings and blow dried hair while Duke of Cambridge wore teal color shirwani having serpentine embroidery over collars and sleeve cuffs. His shirwani was designed by a Karachi based designer, Naushemian. Venue for the reception was the historic monuments of Pakistan in Islamabad.
