Fashion weeks in Pakistan are super hit events which tend to happen twice a year. Most cutting edge Designers from different organizations showcase their formal/informal collections where beautiful pro models walk on ramp for them. These fashion weeks have been aired since so many years now and the consistency is maintained after every 6 months i.e. Spring/Summer collection and Autumn/Winter collections.
These fashion weeks have a standard that is maintained through various mediums like experts in décor, mind boggling ideas for theme, audience to be invited which are mostly socialites and well-known people from our fashion industry. Designers are way too selective when it comes to hiring models for the ramp walk since it has become a matter of reputation for them.
BUT!!!
The major trouble in our fashion weeks is noticed since last few shows. The disastrous walk by some of our celebrities which has turned out to be nothing but mere a face of shame on ramp!
Let’s talk about some of the mishaps happened recently at FPW’19:
Our very famous and loved celebrity, Hina Altaf, who was a show stopper for Zellbury clothing brand. She very boldly, which we appreciate entered, waved but for some reasons let’s call it OVER CONFIDENCE, she stumbled!
Another disaster at FPW’19 was sported by a renowned designer who was wearing high heels and accidently that got stuck in Shaniera Akram’s dress which resulted in Saba losing her balance and fell on her knees.
The trouble doesn’t ends here; contrary to her heels her very pro model Shaniera was spotted wearing joggers under a luxurious, embellished heavy lehnga.

A TOTAL FAIL LOOK!
Model Kesha Siddique while walking for SFK bridals, broke her heel to which her co-partner on ramp, Subhan Awan bend on her knees and helped her take off them and walk bare foot. This manly act was appreciated by many on social media.
This isn’t something new, we’ve seen this happening before as well when Saba Qamar fell while walking on ramp and made it on her own again without any hesitation. We think this celebrity showstopper trend should end and left it to pro models, those who are good with it. No further events should turn out REAL disasters.
