Day one of the three-day bridal extravaganza kick started with:
FAHAD HUSSAYN:
Fahad hussayn’s LABYAGAWACHI serves as print museum wedding essentials with a wide range of affordable wedding wear.
Labyagawachi is a musical journey into the vast sceneries of nature and the huge construction of intricately weaved beauty in all that exists around us where the voyage between day & night ties in with being found and lost. His collection was based on vividly beautiful colors and we know no one does better draping than Fahad. The king of Punjabi pop music, Abrar ul haq walked as the showstopper for Fahad hussayn. The brand Fahad HUSSAYN celebrates a decade of decadence in revivalist embroideries, patchwork, signature 3d surfaces and the love of craft with intricate detailing. What Sabeeka Imam wore is an absolute regal piece from his Labyagawachi collection!
AISHA IMRAN:
Aisha Imran’s SHAADI MUBARAK collection at BCW has us stunned.
The collection features romantic and elegant wedding dresses for the alluring and fascinating brides of the season. The dresses are crafted with unrealistic details; each design is a remarkable work of an artist with traditional craftsmanship.
We’ve fallen in love with unique embellishments, modern silhouettes, and the graceful elegance on the ramp. Hamna amir was the official jewelry partner for BCW19. Minal khan stunned as a showstopper for Aisha Imran in all Rad ensemble with heavy hand-work. Not just this Alyzeh gabool looked gorgeous in a Pink classical shalwar kameez by Aisha Imran. A very Exquisite collection was showcased by Aisha Imran with an alluring craftsmanship.
HARIS SHAKEEL:
Haris shakeel has brought back the amalgamation of traditional ensembles with modernity within his collection, ISHQ.
He has brought back Mughal tradition of heavy Peshwas with churidaar, Ghaagra choli loaded with royal stones, gota, zardozi and mukesh work on traditional anarakali, anghraka, and the basic shalwars with short shirts and long dupattas styled in a desi way. They have used lots of block printing techniques and screen printing in their new collection. They have chosen a color palette of truly festive and vibrant colors that every bride has an eye on. This was Haris Shakeel’s second show in which he showcased 21 pieces. Now you can go all traditional on your big day without any hassle and that you know your one stop for traditional wears!
The ever gorgeous Kinza Hashmi walked as a showstopper for Haris Shakeel in an Emerald color ensemble with Golden hand work.
ROYAL TAG:
The historic events about this place, how Royals lived here and that it is still owned by the 12th Duke of Northumberland. The whole lot of inspiration and idea was based on the venue, Its architecture and how the site combines of nature and man-engineered beauty.
The royal inspiration portrays how an amalgamation of natural patterns is derived from SYON Garden and intricate architectural prints and patterns driven from the SYON House. The color palette was the true portrayal of the beauty of the place under heavy lights.
Adnan siddiqui aka Shehwar Ahmad was the best choice to portray Royalty on ramp.
